Collection: For Migraines
Next time you feel a headache or migraine coming on, drink a cup of tea to help alleviate symptoms or burn a candle that will release a calming aroma. These are products we recommend to help with migraines and headaches.
When drinking tea for migraines and headaches:
- Prepare your tea with freshly boiled water. If you don't have a kettle, use a pot and NOT the microwave.
- Let your tea steep for at least 5 minutes for maximum strength.
- Inhale the aroma from the steam of your tea while you wait for it to cool to a drinking temperature.
- The key is to start drinking your tea when you feel your symptoms coming on, not after they have worsened.
- Listen to your body and be aware of its surroundings -- if there are things that trigger headaches and migraines for you, like stressful situations, transitioning into a cold space, not receiving enough sleep, allergies, TV/Computer Screen glares, etc.; in addition to trying to minimize the external trigger also start drinking your tea a head of that trigger if possible.
