Next time you feel a headache or migraine coming on, drink a cup of tea to help alleviate symptoms or burn a candle that will release a calming aroma. These are products we recommend to help with migraines and headaches.
When drinking tea for migraines and headaches:
Prepare your tea with freshly boiled water. If you don't have a kettle, use a pot and NOT the microwave.
Let your tea steep for at least 5 minutes for maximum strength.
Inhale the aroma from the steam of your tea while you wait for it to cool to a drinking temperature.
The key is to start drinking your tea when you feel your symptoms coming on, not after they have worsened.
Listen to your body and be aware of its surroundings -- if there are things that trigger headaches and migraines for you, like stressful situations, transitioning into a cold space, not receiving enough sleep, allergies, TV/Computer Screen glares, etc.; in addition to trying to minimize the external trigger also start drinking your tea a head of that trigger if possible.
